A hobby perfected through his adult years became a retirement business thanks to having the time to pursue his wood working vision. 

All of Bob Makinen’s wood creations are his own design unless otherwise requested.  His artistic flair comes out in many pieces making them a work of art.

His attention to detail brings out the inner beauty of the wood.

Presently we do not have a store front, less overhead means savings for you!

All Birch is local wood and Hard Woods are purchased locally.

Every piece is made in North Pole Alaska with most work being hand crafted.
